Sie studierte Illustration an der Fachhochschule f\u00fcr Gestaltung in Hamburg und wurde 1980 Mitglied in der \u201eHamburger Illustratorengruppe\u201c. Seit 1981 ver\u00f6ffentlicht sie Bilderb\u00fccher. Ab 1985 arbeitet sie als Cartoonistin bei der Zeitschrift \u201eBrigitte\u201c Sieben Jahre lang erscheinen dort vierzehnt\u00e4gig ihre Bildgeschichten. 1991 begann sie mit dem Zeichnen von Trickfilmen und ihrer Arbeit f\u00fcr das ZDF.
